Elegant responsive theme on IE8 and IE9

Question

Seems elegant responsive theme is not rendering properly on internet explorer 8 and 9.
Pages are rendering as if it's a mobile aspect ratio and also search results just doesn't show up.

This should be hopefully easy to reproduce but if not then I can create a public website for you to view.

Q2A version - 1.6+
Theme version - 1.13

First I would suggest you to update the theme with latest version. Current version is 1.14. To download upgrade go to your Account > Download

To support the web community we have dropped IE8 support.

I also would strongly suggest you to ask your user to upgrade their
browser. It will take few minutes and no cost

I have cross checked with IE9 during the development as well as now and it seems working fine at our end. Could you please update the IE9 version and see if it works or not.

Also provide your website url so we can check issue there. If not possible than at least few screenshots..
